教學(xué)重點：能正確理解并朗讀課文，在教師的幫助下嘗試復(fù)述課文。 教學(xué)難點：能初步運(yùn)用本課所學(xué)的詞匯和句型詢問別人正在做的事情。 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備：PPT,圖片  教學(xué)過程： 
Step1 Greeting and warm up 
1.Enjoy the song: What are the songs about? 2. Introduce myself Step 2 Pre-reading 
1.Learn: meat with potatoes; tomato soup 2. Play a game 
3. Brain storming: 30 seconds non-stop talking  
Rules: Each student says one word about food or drinks one by one.  Step 3 while-reading 1.Task1 Read and choose What do they have for dinner? 2.Task2 Watch and answer 
  (1) What are Liu Tao’s parents doing? (2) Is Mrs Liu cooking meat? (3) What is Mr Liu doing? 3.Task3 Listen and answer    What is Liu Tao doing? 4.Task4 Read and answer (1) What is Liu Tao doing? (2) How is the meat? (3) How is the soup? 5.Read after the tape 6.Reading time
