【課前準備】背景知識   
《美猴王》講述了在花果山上,猴群正在緊張的和混世魔王戰斗。一塊在花果山上蘊育多年的仙石突然崩裂,從里面誕生出一只石猴來。在老猴王的循循善誘下,石猴由被猴群排擠直至擁護為猴王。為了更好的保護花果山,在大家的勸解下,小石猴決定出海學藝。石猴來到了靈臺方寸山向菩提祖師學藝。他不但學有所成,還交到了很多新朋友,另外也擁有了自己的名字——孫悟空。
 
七、Teaching and Learning Steps:
Step I. Teaching Aims
Tell the Ss they are going to learn Unit 6 Section A3a-3c. And show students the learning aims of this lesson.
 (設計意圖:上課伊始,向學生展示學習課題與學習目標,幫助他們明確這一節課的學習任務所在。)
StepⅡ.Pre-reading activities
1. Preview
Ask the students to preview the passage by themselves. Then underline what they can not understand in order that they can study hard and listen to the teacher carefully.
(設計意圖:讓學生提前感知課文,掌握基本的單詞和短語,便于學生理解和掌握課文。這樣也可以促使學生養成必備的預習習慣,為本課的學習打下基礎。)
 2. Warming up and leading in
Firstly, ask the students the following questions:
1. Do you like listening or telling stories?
2. What stories have you ever heard of? Tell us what their names are.
Then, I ask the students to guess what my favorite story is. Next I show students a picture about Fight White-Boned Demon three times and tell them it’s my favorite story. The Monkey King is my favorite character in this story because he is clever and brave.
3. Watching a video
Show a video about the Monkey King to the students and then ask them to answer the following questions:
1. What does the video show?
2. Who is the main character in this video?
2. Do you want to know more about him?
Then I tell the students “If you want to know more about the Monkey King, let’s keep quiet and read the passage together.”
Step Ⅲ While-reading activities
Fast-reading1
From the passage, what does the writer want to tell us?
A. To tell us Journey to the West and the Monkey King.
B. To tell us the Monkey King is very popular outside China.
C. To let people know better about the Monkey King.
(設計意圖: 該任務意在引導學生速讀課文,通過回答問題來實現對課文的整體感知。因為學生要回答這個問題,必須運用略讀的技巧捕捉有用的信息,進而獲取文章的大意,不要求學生獲取所有細節信息。)

He is not just any normal monkey. In fact, he sometimes does not even look like a monkey! He is clever, and never gives up fighting to help the weak.
