Step 1 warming up &free talk 1.Greeting
2.Free talk:師:Where do you live? How do you go to school? 生:I live in ... I go to school by bus/by car/on foot. 師追問:You home is near/far from school. Yes? 生:Yes.
3.Suggestions.Show a map.師:I live in Jin Shanqiao. Far from here. How do I get to your school? Can you give me some suggestions?出示句型,You can get here by____ /
You can take the_____. 4.師:I don't know where your school is. What can I do?引導生回答:You can ask the policeman for help.呈現圖,師:Today , I use Mobile Navigation to get here. I can also ask someone for help. So, let's start our new lesson. Unit 3 Asking the way. 5.look at today's learning aims.
師:I can understand and read the story fluently. Can you? I can try to retell the story. Can you? I can show others the way . Can you? 師:Ok. Let's start. Step 2 Pre-reading
1.出示課文圖。師:Yang Ling wants to visit Su Hai's new home. Please listen carefully
and say out the places you've heard.生聽課文錄音,說出所聽到的文中出現的地點。 引導生說出: Park Station, City Library Station, bookshop等。師及時板貼。
2.出示地鐵站圖,教學metro station.隨后出示徐州地鐵圖,師:Xuzhou will have our own metro next year.
3.出示書店圖,教學bookshop. Step 3. While-reading
1.師:Now, please read the first part of the story, and underline the phrases about showing the way.生讀課文第一部分,劃出文中指路的短語。選生回答。
2.師適時出現兩幅圖,問:Which one is "next to"?讓生選擇,同時幫助學生比較next to和near的差別。
3.PPT出示:師舉例講解take the metro =go to …by metro,Walk to…=go to …on foot. 4.Happy reading. Follow the PPT, read part 1. 5. Group work:小組合作,試著給楊玲指路,選一人匯報。師選生說,同時板貼短語:get on , get off , walk to,
next to. 師及時板貼,逐步形成思維導圖。
6.師:Yang Ling is on Sun Street now.
Can Yang Ling find the bookshop? 生:No. 師:What does she do? 引導生說:She asks a policeman for help. 7.師:How to ask the policeman? 生:Excuse me,how do I get to the bookshop on Moon Street? 師繼續追問:What else can we ask the way? 引導生說:Where is...?/Can you tell me the way to...?等。師最后強調:向別人尋求幫助時,我們應該先說Excuse me以示禮貌。
8. Watch and draw 生看動畫,畫出完整路線。師選生上黑板畫路線圖,引出go along, turn right, traffic lights, on your right等短語,教學并板貼在黑板上,進一步豐富思維導圖。

師:Kevin老師想去這三個地方。(1)小組合作選擇一個地點。(2)幫老師制定一條最合理的路線(3)選擇一種合作方式:a.小組集體匯報☆ b.可創編對話 ☆☆ c.可以畫地圖展示。☆☆☆
4.師呈現學校周邊區域地圖,帶學生熟悉地圖。生小組合作,完成任務單Task 3。
選生展示。
5.師呈現徐州地圖,說:Once, we use this kind of map. 6.師呈現百度地圖、騰訊地圖、手機導航、汽車導航。說:Now, life is more convenient.

1.Tell your friend the way from Yang Ling’s home to Su Hai's home. 2.Think about your way from home to school.
