Teaching contents：Story time Teaching Aims& Learning aims:  1. Knowledge & skills objectives: (1) I can understand and read the story. (2) I can try to retell the story. 
(3) I can talk about where to live and how to come to some places.  2. Process & method objectives: 
(1) Ss can try to make a new dialogue and talk about it in this way: …How do you come to…? I come to…by/on… Where do you live? I live … 
(2) Ss can get some information from reading the story and develop their reading skills and cooperative skills. 
3. Emotion, attitude & value objectives: Ss can care about others. 
Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty： 
1. Ss can read fluently and get the meaning of the whole story. 
2. Ss can try to talk about like this: …How do you come to…? I come to…by/on… Where do you live? I live … 3. Ss can try to make a new dialogue. Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Warm-up 
T: What tales do you like?  
Ss tell some stories we learnt. T shows a picture “Hogwarts School” T: 
How does he come to school?    S1: He comes to school by train. 
Lead in a video “Disney English” about the traffic  
Watch and say the transportations as quickly as possible!   Step 2 Presentation& Practice

A: How do you come to school?  B: I come to school____.    Teach new words 
2.Watch the cartoon& answer questions     Where do they live? 3.Read and match     Check the answers 4. Listen and match    …comes to school… 
5.Work in groups and underline the places as quickly as you can!  Fill in the map 
 Name the street and pat attention to  “in … town/ on ….street” 6. Read and circle   Where do they live? 
Learn to read: far from, Moon Street, City Library, Sunshine Town, Park Street. 
7. Read the story in roles. 
Learning aim 1: I can understand and read the story. Ticking time: check by themselves 8.Retell the story 
Each one can say one sentence or say it together. Step 3 Consolidation Guess and imagine: Where do they live? 
How do they go to work? 
Tips: Low-carbon life, green commuting! Step 4 Homework 
Read the story fluently, try to retell the whole story. Collect the names of public transportation.
