Step 1:Show time and leading in. Encourage students to show their mid maps of the universe and lead today’s topic. Each team show their mind maps and do a short introduction. Because of looking up information on the
Internet and make mind maps by themselves, students
can develop their ability of autonomic learning. Step 2:Listening and reading. 1. Play the audio.
2. Play the audio. 3. Play the flash.
1. Listen and number the words.
2. Listen and completer the sentences.
3. Watch the flash, then read the conversation and answer the questions.
According to the language to practice the listening skill, and get the specific information. Step 3:Travel to Mars. 1. Show students a passage with
blanks.
2. Make a mid map of the travel to space with the students. 1. Read the dialogue in pairs.
2. Complete the passage. 3. According to the mind map, students try to recite the text.
1. Develop students logistic ability by making the mind map. 2. Master the usages of present perfect with already, yet.
Step4:Debating time.n Give student the question: Can
humans live on another planet? Students in 2 teams to
debate.
To train students speaking skill and cooperation. They will realize China dream is space dream too.
Step5:Conclusion
Let students summarize. Students conclude today’s learning. Remind students the important points.
