教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)的具體內(nèi)容
一、 整體設(shè)計(jì)思路 (其中需包含對教學(xué)內(nèi)容的分析)
本文圍繞話題“Keep our city clean”,從What makes our city dirty? 和What can we do to keep our city clean?兩個(gè)方面闡述了嚴(yán)重的城市污染 問題和孩子們凈化城市的建議。
英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)已成為小學(xué)英語教育日益關(guān)注的話題。要注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言能力、學(xué)習(xí)能力、思維品質(zhì)以及文化意識。在本課中,我緊緊圍繞這幾個(gè)目標(biāo)進(jìn)行活動設(shè)計(jì)。諸如:Read and complete環(huán)節(jié),根據(jù)文字選貼圖和借助圖片選貼文字的設(shè)計(jì)旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力;Think and say環(huán)節(jié)(針對孩子們凈化城市的建議談?wù)勛约旱目捶ǎ约癊nrich and act環(huán)節(jié)(嘗試用其他的污染問題和凈化建議豐富故事內(nèi)容,然后再演一演),旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生analyzing、evaluating、creating等高階思維品質(zhì);在不同環(huán)節(jié)中借助評價(jià)反饋的方式提出且彰顯于板書的find the problems, get the ideas, make some changes 三個(gè)字牌,旨在涵育學(xué)生正確的價(jià)值觀和生活態(tài)度,體現(xiàn)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生文化意識的目標(biāo)。 二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
Teaching aims and learning objectives:
By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. understand the text as a whole and get to know city problems and children’s ideas.
2. get to know the meaning of “bins, factory, rubbish, smoke, dead, air, more, plant” and pronounce them clearly;
3. use the words “keep, clean, make, dirty, museum, ground, messy” both in speaking and writing;
4. learn some reading strategies, such as pictures can help us understand the story, taking notes to justify something etc.;
5. improve critical thinking skills by justifying children’s ideas about keeping our city clean .
6. use some tips for reading and reporting. 7. use the sentence structure“ …makes…? / We can…” to talk about the city problems.
8. get to know the ways to face the problem. Such as: find the problem,
have the idea and make some change.
三、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)
Focus of the lesson:
1. understanding the text as a whole.
2.reading the dialogue with the right pronunciation, intonation and sentence stress.
Predicted area of difficulty:
1. pronunciation of “factory, rubbish, plant”;
2. the meaning and usage of some expressions about time, such as “move…away from, keep …clean”. 四、教學(xué)過程
Teaching procedures: StepⅠ Lead-in
1. Teacher shows a song about London.
2. Teacher asks a question: What’s the song about? 3. Teacher shows four pictures of London.
4. Teacher asks a question: What do you think of the city?
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】由英國倫敦的旅游宣傳歌曲導(dǎo)入新課,旨在激活學(xué)生對城市美好生活的向往和期待,為進(jìn)一步理解和體驗(yàn)文本內(nèi)容做好鋪墊。
StepⅡ Understanding and learning
1.Students listen to the radio and answer the question: Why are Miss Li and students talking about the city?
2.Teacher presents the text and asks students read the text quickly and underline Miss Li’s question.
3.Students read the text carefully and find out: What makes city dirty? / What can we do to make city clean? Then choose pictures and lines and learn new words and phrases” factory, rubbish, messy, dead, move…away from, plant more trees, put…in… ”
4.Teacher asks a question: What do you think of children’s ideas? Students discuss in groups, then answer with supporting lines “…says… I think the idea is…because… ”
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】在While-reading環(huán)節(jié),借助文字選帖圖片、根據(jù)圖片選貼文字,可以有效地培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力;而在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解和捕捉完文本信息(city problem和children’s ideas )之后,文本分析并未就此止步,而是進(jìn)一步要求學(xué)生針對children’s ideas談?wù)勛约旱目捶ǎ@樣的設(shè)計(jì)不僅充分地鞏固和利用了捕捉到的文本信息,而且極大地激活了學(xué)生的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn),助推了學(xué)生分析、評價(jià)、創(chuàng)新等高階思維品質(zhì)的發(fā)展。結(jié)構(gòu)句型“…says… I think the idea is…because… ”更是為學(xué)生的語言表達(dá)提供了強(qiáng)有力的支撐,促進(jìn)了學(xué)生的綜合語用能力。
Step Ⅲ Consolidation
S 1. Students listen to the tape and repeat.
2. Read the text in different ways.
3. Students use other problems and ideas to enrich the story, then act out.
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】在表演環(huán)節(jié),首先讓學(xué)生結(jié)合生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)和想象,極大地豐富城市污染的現(xiàn)象和凈化城市的途徑,再讓學(xué)生表演,并提供表演Tips:Talk more, act more 。這樣的設(shè)計(jì)不僅能極大地調(diào)動學(xué)生的興趣,而且有助于學(xué)生analyzing、creating等高階思維品質(zhì)的提升。
Step Ⅳ Production Sign a promise to make some change for a better city and show the promise. Step Ⅴ Extension
Teacher shows four pictures in 1952 and now, then compare them to encourage the students to make some change for a better city.
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】簽環(huán)保承諾書這一環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì),旨在促進(jìn)本節(jié)課目標(biāo)語…makes…/ I/we can…運(yùn)用的同時(shí),煥發(fā)學(xué)生“為了美好城市從自身做些改變”的愿景和行動力。此外,1952年和現(xiàn)在倫敦前后照片的對比,則更加堅(jiān)定了“只要find the problems, get the ideas and make some changes就一定能make difference”人生信念,水到渠成地實(shí)現(xiàn)了人文性的滲透。
