3.Listen to 1a ，read after the tape and imitate. 
1. Get students listen to 1a and answer: Which does Kangkang like better, plants or animals? Why? 
2. Ask students to listen to 1a again and do 1b. 
3.Let students listen to 1a and get them read and after the tape, paying attention to the pronunciation and pause when imitating the tape. 
1.To get students find out Which Kangkang likes better and the reason. And get them focus on the sententces: Plants and animals are important to us. We should share the same world with them. 2.To get students understand 1a better and use the sentence pattern:…like…better, because…to answer questions.

1.Read 1a freely and underline the key or difficult sentences. 
2. Find out the key sentences according to the Chinese.

3. To encourage students to speak English confidently. Summary and Homework. (1 min) Understand what they have learnt in this class and the homework. Summarize what the students have learnt in this class and assign the homework: 
1.Recite 1a after class. 2.Write a report according to 1c about the interview today. 3. Preview Section C.
