Presentation &Practice 
1.Ask students to  look at Millie’s happiness chart in Part A and answer: What activities does 1.Look at Millie’s happiness chart in Part A and answer. To help students learn about the content and the structure of a diary.

3.Ask students to read together . 4.Let them do “students in role”. Just suppose that she/he is Millie. Why does she/he like morning exercises ? And give some other reasons . 5.Ask Ss to express their opinions 
6.Ask students to read the diary and find out the main idea of each paragraph. 
7.Encourage students to make an outline of the diary

Write about their likes and dislikes. 
Evaluate the own writings and the desk mate’s.
