Part one Analysis of the Teaching material 
1. This part is from Junior English Book Grade 8 which was published by Shanghai Education Publishing House. This part is about grammar, which focuses on the topic of adverbial clause of condition. 
2. This part is about grammar. In this class, student should master the usage of if, unless and as long as. 
3. Such a topic is closely related to their daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and improve their oral English. 
Part two Analysis of the Students 
1. In terms of the eighth graders, they have learned English for some years. They understand the simple words and sentences.  
2. They are enthusiastic and energetic in language class. They are willing and active to show themselves in class. They are curious about everything. It is important for the teacher to give them chances to participate in class. 
3. They still rely on teachers’ guide, especially in some task-based activities, so during the activities, teacher should give them some leading questions. 
Part three Analysis of the Teaching Methods 
1. In this lesson, my teaching methods include communicative teaching method, audio-visual teaching method and task-based teaching method. 
2. Besides, multi-media computer and PowerPoint are used as teaching aids. 
Part four Analysis of the Teaching Objectives 
1. Language Learning Objectives 
1) By the end of this class, Students are expected to understand and use the 
conjunctions like “ if, unless, as long as”. 
2) To make students grasp the structures, the definition and the three rules of

1) Students can use the conjunctions to express.

Task one: share some pictures about my wishes. (chain story) 
As a teacher, I don’t have much time. But in my heart, I still have some wishes. What will I do if I have much time?

If I have much money, I will travel to Bali again. 
If I have money, I will travel to other countries such as America, Australia, and England.  
If I travel around the world, I will meet people from different countries. If I meet people from different countries, I will make more friends. If I make more friends, my life will be more meaningful. 1) Purpose:  
To arouse students' interest in learning English by talking about my wishes using if. 
To create a relaxing class atmosphere for students. Task two: free talk 
1) To ask students to work with their deskmate to make a conversation. 2) To ask students to share their conversations. A: What will you do if you have much time? B: If I have much time, I will_________________. A: What will you do if you have much money? B: If I have much money, I will_______________. 3）Purpose: 
To make students have a better understanding of the adverbial clause of condition.

To provide the chances for the students to talk with the other.
