【教學目標】
1.學生能讀懂請柬,完成讀后閱讀任務。
2.能夠參考例詞,根據所設定的情境,寫出含有核心句型的三個句子。
3.學會基本的閱讀策略,在春風細雨,滴水穿石中使自主閱讀能力得到進一步發展。 【教學重難點】 教學重點:
1.能完成“read and write”部分的閱讀任務。
2.能夠正確聽、說、認讀單詞及短語,如:holiday, roll, look for, chocolate等。 3.能根據情境設定,寫出含有核心句型的三個句子:I will„ 教學難點:
1.能在情境下理解和突破新單詞短語,并且靈活運用。 2.能用英文寫一封兒童節請柬。 【教具準備】

Step 1 Warm-up and revision 1. Greeting
T:Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? I am very well. Thanks. What’s the weather like today? Ss: It’s sunny.
T: Are you happy? Yes, let’s play a game with him, ok? 2. Look and say
T: Show me your hand. Let’s look and say. Take the water drop when it drop down. Ready?
T: All these words are about months. On different months, we have different festivals. I
have some riddles for you. Can you guess?
T: You did a good job. On different festivals, we will have lots of activities. Ss: We will sing and dance / plant trees / play many games. 3. Look and match
T: Do you like playing games? Ok. Here’s a match game for you. Who wanna try? Check the answer.

Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Lead in (Show the title and task)
T: Mid-Autumn Day is China’s traditional day. How about Easter? Is it China’s traditional day? Do you want to know about it?
T: So today we are going to learn about it. U3 My school calendar, Part B read & write Easter Party. After learning, we will make an invitation for the coming Children’s Day party for our class. Now I will divide you into two groups. You are together with Easter Bunny A and you are together with Bunny B. Let’s see who can get more Easter eggs. Later you can use Easter eggs to change for chocolate eggs.

2. Watch a vedio about Easter
T:First, let’s enjoy a vedio about Easter,ok?
T: From the vedio, do you know what we will do on Easter ? Ss: We will play many games. We will roll Easter eggs.
T: The Easter Day is so interesting. Do you want to join in the Easter Party? Look, our friend Robin send us an email about an invitation for Easter Party.

Step 3 While-reading
1. First reading -- Skim and circle
T: When is the Easter Party? Where will it be held? Skim the invitation and circle. Q1: When is the Easter Party?
A. On April 12th, 7p.m. B. On March 23rd
Q2: Where is the Easter Party held? A. At Wu Yifan’s home. B. At Robin’s home.
2. Second reading – scan and answer
T: But why do we have the party? What will we do at the party? Please scan the invitation and underline the key sentences.1 min.
Q3:Where is the party held? Q4:What will we do at the party? Check the answer

4. Fourth reading (listen and imitate)
T: This time let’s read out the invitation loudly. Pay attention to your pronounciation and intonation.
5. Retell the invitation
T: You did a good job. Can you retell the invitation?
6. Make a small summary

Step 3 Post-reading 1.Read, discuss and answer
T: There are so many fun things at Easter Party. Do you want to join in? Me too. Look, this is my email to Robin. And because my birthday is coming, I want to invite Robin and Wu Yifan to join in my party. Do you know when my birthday party is? Where will be the party held? What will we do ? Please discuss in groups and try to answer the questions.

(1)T: This is my birthday party invitation. Our friend make some invitations too. Let’s have a look. Can you make invitaitons? Because Children’s Day is coming. Can you make an invitation for Children’s Day Party for our class. Here are some words for your reference. One write the invitation, the other color it. After that, exchange and read it. Step 4 Summary & homework 1.Reply the invitation from Robin.
2.Send out your Children’s Day Party invitation to your friends by email or mail. 3.Search more information about Easter Party on the Internet.
