1.Warm-up and revision(課堂熱身和復習)
(1)self-introduction
Ask Ss”What does Miss Zhang look like?”
(2) What does he look like?
What is he like?
(3) Review: How can we describe people’s appearance?
How can we describe people’s personality?
2.Presentation(呈現新知識)
(1)Practice the new sentences. Use photos of stars on the screen to stimulate conversation in the class.

 (教師用不同顏色的字體提醒學生注意used to 后面不同的語言點。)
(2) Discuss in groups : Talk about the stars using the structure “used to”
(3)Look at the picture in 1a. Ask “Can you describe Bob’s friends?”

Look at the picture in 1a and make conversations.
A: Did Mario use to be short?

B: He’s tall now.
6. 觀察與思考
used to表示_____________,如果后面跟形容詞,需要在形容詞前加______; 如果后面是實意動詞,后面直接跟動詞的_______。
      used to 的一般疑問句是如何構成的?__________________________

7. 小組活動
同伴之間互相詢問過去的相貌、性格和愛好并記錄下來把你伙伴的變化講給同學們聽。
 
8. 小結。檢測學習成果。
 
9. Homework
Do you ever find our school or our city has changed a lot? Try to find some changes around you and make sentences with “used to”.
