①  T present different kinds of TV shows by pictures 
② Ss read new words after T, one by one, row by row, group by group 
                            ③  Play a guessing game. ④ Work on 1a and check answer.  2. Likes & Dislikes 
Present new words by questions.   T：What do you think of … ? S1,2,3:  I … them. 
(T Help them answer by using the words: love, like, don’t mind,  can’t stand, don’t love / like ) Step 3 : Practicing 1. T—S free talk

① Call students’ attention to the five phrases in 2a.

② Play the recording the first time, students listen and number the expressions as they hear them, thencheck the answer.
