Description Students have learned some structures and descriptions of food-making process in the former periods in this unit. Teaching difficulties Describing the process of making dishes.
Teaching aims
1. To enable Ss to understand the reading passage generally,
including vocabulary, phrases and sentences.
2. To train Ss to retell the process of making a turkey dinner. 3. To guide Ss to know some information about Thanksgiving. 4. To cultivate Ss’ sense of being thankful to others.

3. Ask Ss to enjoy a video about making a turkey dinner first. Read pictures:

4.Ask Ss to retell the instruction in a group. Read the passage paragraph by paragraph with the guidance of the teacher
