Topic: price of the clothes and how to buy Contents:
1. Numbers from ten to thirty-one.
2. Choose the clothes and ask for the price of them.
Teaching Aims:
After this class, students will be able to:
1. Master the numbers from ten to thirty-one and know the rules of numbers. 2. Get better in the ask and answers of price and use them in real.
3. Do the role-play with basic sentence patterns and perform actively and fluently. 4. Know the polite ways of buying and buy things rationally. Teaching important points:
1. To help the students master the numbers and find the rules of number. 2. To lead the students to get into the scene of shopping and do the listening carefully.
3. To encourage the students to talk about the price of clothes with correct sentence patterns and use in real life.
Teaching difficulties:
1. How to lead the students to talk in class actively.
2. How to encourage and help the students use English to buy things and establish a correct concept of consumption. Teaching method: TBLT Approach

Greet the whole class. (About the day of the week, date and weather .) Step 2 Lead-in
The students watch a video about shopping together.

T: First, we can see a sock shop. Do you like these socks. Guess how much are these socks?

Activity 1 Listen to the number(10-31) and repeat T: Turn the turntable and say the number loudly.
T: Let’ s back to my store. How much is the white coat / the brown coat?
T: Write down the numbers with English in 1b and read them together to find the wrong rows.
T: Let’ s count up to thirty-one one by one. Activity 2 Rules of number
T: Can you find the totally different numbers? Can you find the same letters from thirteen to nineteen? Can you find the same letters between twenty and thirty? Let’ s learn forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety.
T: Let’ s do Maths. Look, this hat is nice. Five dollars for a hat. If I want to buy two hats, how much are they? Seven? How about this coat? Activity 3 Conversation listening & learning
T: Going shopping is an excellent thing. In the sunny day, Kate and her Mom are going shopping in the mall. Let’ s follow them and see. Ready?
Listen and circle the things in the picture that Kate and her mom talk about. Listen again and check(√) the thing Kate buys. Listen for the third time and fill the blanks.
T: Let’ s listen and imitate. (Ss should try hard to find the right intonation to feel the scene.) Boys, let’ s be Kate, girls, let’ s be Mom. Read together.
Ss read the conversation in pairs, using their voice to play out Kate and her Mom.
Show in the front. (Pay attention to their emotion.) Step 5 Post-task
T: After we learn the conversation. We can see Kate and her Mom have a happy shopping. Why do they talk about the things?(Because they like the things.) What do they say? Do they buy all the things they like?(No.) Do they buy things without thinking? (No.) What do they say?

Self-reflection of teaching Thinking about this lessen：
This lesson is different from the other lessons Ss learned. So in every link, I pay more attention to the guidance and expressions. Encourage Ss to think and speak, then gain some new ideas. Promoting the listening and speaking, and get the knowledge in applying. But not good enough in group work and connecting. Thinking of students’ reflection on this lesson:
The Ss are not good at using the object phrase because they learn different kind of book. They are a little shy at the beginning until they do the role play. It’ s hard for them to learn more new things in a lesson, but they behave so well and try their best to follow me and do well. They truly get the knowledge theoretically and emotionally.
Thinking of myself as a teacher:
Being an English teacher, I’ m the active one. I will move myself and say something humorous and encouraging to promote my students. Take care every students in my class and give them hand when they need. Let my students think first and get conclusion after my leading is very good. Encourage them to show, to help others is very important, and I try so hard to do them well in class. I will try to be more agile and integrate knowledge into my class.
