教學目標
1.語言知識:復習并使得學生能夠正確使用一般將來時的被動語態(tài);能夠掌握并運用與Mars相關的短語。
2.語言技能:使得學生能夠根據(jù)圖片預測課文內(nèi)容,幫助閱讀理解;能夠根據(jù)聽到的對話記錄關鍵詞,并對話題進行深入的交流和討論。
3.情感態(tài)度:使得學生能夠通過小組間良性的競爭與合作,培養(yǎng)友好互助的精神,能夠與同伴一起暢想未來其他星球的生活;能夠主動探究,借助網(wǎng)絡等資源查找資料。
2學情分析
       整體來說班上學生學習積極性還不錯,上九年級后學習風氣也有所好轉(zhuǎn),學習的興趣濃了,學習的主動性增強了。但兩級分化比較嚴重,尖子生不夠突出。整體上大部分學生已經(jīng)有了一定的英語學習基礎,所以要求學生能課前認真做好預習,借助網(wǎng)絡和書籍,了解火星和未來外太空的生活,培養(yǎng)自學能力,讓學生在課堂上有話可說,樂于合作分享。這樣就有利于他們更好的運用課本知識,達到提高綜合運用語言能力的目的。又由于九年級的學生課堂回答問題的積極性不夠,因此在本課中也設計了小組計分競爭方式來提高學生的參與度。
3重點難點
1.重點:與Mars相關短語的學習和運用。
2.難點:對Mars文章的理解。
4教學過程
4.1第一學時
4.1.1Warm－up　
1. Enjoy pictures and review some words.
2. Watch a movie to talk about the future life.(will+be+past participle)(計分1)
4.1.2Lead－in
1. Watch the preview of The Martian.
2. Ask: What’s the movie about?
3. Today’s topic: Mars
4.1.3Pre－reading
1. KWL chart: ①What do you know about Mars?
                      ②What do you want to know about Mars?(計分2)
4.1.4While－reading
1. Ask two students to do a report about Mars together. Other students listen to the report carefully, take some notes, and answer questions.
2. While checking the answers to the questions, learn the new words and important expressions.(計分3)
3. Talk something about Mars according to pictures.(計分4)
4. Listen and fill in the blanks. Check the answers and read the text  together.(計分5)
5. Watch the video of the text. 
4.1.5Post－reading
1. Color Questions. Answer the questions according to your star’s color.(計分6)
2. KWL chart: ③ What have you learned about Mars?(計分7)
3. Watch a video about Liquid water is found on Mars.
4.1.6Summary＆　Assignment
1. Summarize what have learned in the class.
2. Read 1a. Memorize the useful expressions and key sentences which we learned today. Finish Section C in your workbook. Review Sections A-C.
