本節(jié)課要求學(xué)生能運用be going to 這個句子結(jié)構(gòu)來談?wù)撟约阂约昂门笥训男履隂Q心以及如何實現(xiàn)這個決心。 3. 學(xué)情分析
學(xué)生在小學(xué)階段和七年級學(xué)習(xí)了一些描述新年決心的動詞短語,這為順利學(xué)習(xí)這節(jié)課奠定了知識基礎(chǔ)。本單元Section A 部分已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了be going to 的句型,并且用這個句型練習(xí)了如何表達(dá)自己的夢想,所以本節(jié)課再次運用這個句型對于學(xué)生來說不難。學(xué)好本節(jié)課也為第七單元進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)一般將來時奠定基礎(chǔ)。

Task 1 Enjoy a video named Happy New Year and come to realize we are going to learn something about New Year. Step Ⅱ Presentation
Task 2 Match the pictures with the New Year’s resolutions.
Assessment 1 Check how many students can understand the New Year’s Resolutions. Step Ⅲ Pair work
Task 3 Work in pairs and talk about what their New Year’s Resolutions are.
Assessment 2 Check how many students can use the sentence pattern to describe their resolutions.
Step Ⅳ Listening and Speaking
Task 4 Listen to the tape and write what their resolutions are and how they are going to make them work.
Task 5 Talk about the chart in pairs to check the answers.
Assessment 3 Check how many students can understand the listening material fully. Step Ⅴ Oral Practice
Task 6 Look at some pictures about different teachers’ resolutions and give as many suggestions as they can.
Task 7 Come up with some other resolutions and speak out them one by one. Task 8 Do a group work. Discuss their New Year's Resolutions and how they are going to make it work. One student is a reporter and give a report.
Assessment 4 Check how many students can use the sentence pattern to talk about their friends’ resolutions and how they can make them come true.
Task 9 Enjoy a song to find out the important thing that makes their resolutions work.
