五年級(jí)的學(xué)生已經(jīng)在四年級(jí)上冊(cè)第四單元My home學(xué)過(guò)有關(guān)房間的單詞sofa, bed, shelf, fridge, kitchen,對(duì)本課學(xué)習(xí)已有一定基礎(chǔ)。本課主要學(xué)習(xí)單詞clock, photo ,plant, water bottle, bike以及There be句型的單數(shù)形式的表達(dá)。
Ⅰ.Teaching aids:

TPR, task-based language teaching approach Ⅲ.Teaching
objectives: (1).Knowledge objectives:
1. Students are able to listen, speak, read and write the new words, clock, photo, water bottle, plant and bike.
2. Students are able to freely use the singular form
of “There be” sentence pattern.
(2).Ability objectives:
1. Students are able to use the new words, clock, photo, water bottle, plant, bike and “there be” correctly to describe their rooms.
2. Students are able to use correct sentence patterns to introduce their dreamy room.
(3). Emotion objectives:
1. Students can cultivate the awareness of cleaning room by themselves
2. Students can cultivate the awareness of keeping their room clean and tidy.

describe their rooms

Step1 Warm-up

Go to the kitchen, have a snack Go to the living room, watch TV Go to the bathroom, take a shower Go to the bedroom, have a sleep.
(3). Enjoy a beautiful song.
(4). Divide students into 4 groups
通過(guò)師生間的問(wèn)候,拉近彼此間的距離; 借助之前學(xué)過(guò)的Let’s do引出bedroom,既滾動(dòng)了舊知識(shí),又激發(fā)了學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的熱情和內(nèi)在動(dòng)力;帶著問(wèn)題聽(tīng)歌曲既增加趣味性也更好的過(guò)渡到本課內(nèi)容;運(yùn)用競(jìng)爭(zhēng)機(jī)制調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生積極性。

Students look at the big screen carefully, at the same time, pay attention to the pronunciation of each word.
3. Practice new words
(1). Read new words. High or low voice and read the new word one by one.
(2). Which group read the words in the correct way then this group can get one star.
堂充滿新意,促進(jìn)學(xué)生主動(dòng)去學(xué);
運(yùn)用多媒體展示clock, photo等圖片,使學(xué)生有對(duì)單詞直觀的感知; 大小聲讀單詞,吸引學(xué)生的注意力讓學(xué)生積極參與課堂;
在較難發(fā)的bike的元音上,邀請(qǐng)一組同學(xué)一個(gè)一個(gè)的讀,并及時(shí)糾錯(cuò)。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽(tīng)的能力,及時(shí)反饋學(xué)生習(xí)得的知識(shí),對(duì)學(xué)生獲取的信息能做出快速的回饋與反映。

One word missing at a time, student finds out which word is missing. Which group find the missing one then this group can get one star.
2. Who’s the memory king?
Teacher shows one picture, but it only appears for 5 seconds. After it disappears, students retell what they can remember. The student who says the most things can get
運(yùn)用游戲來(lái)操練所學(xué)的新單詞,同時(shí)及時(shí)反饋,運(yùn)用競(jìng)爭(zhēng)機(jī)制,增加學(xué)生積極性。

小組活動(dòng)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生將單詞和重點(diǎn)句型運(yùn)用在語(yǔ)篇中的能力;描述自己的房間是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。 情感教育培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自己整理房間的習(xí)慣。 Step5 Homework 1. Listen, read after the tape twice. 2. Write down the new words five

3. Design your dreamy room and introduce it with complete sentences.
家庭作業(yè)是對(duì)課堂學(xué)習(xí)的鞏固,是英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)由課堂延伸到課外的橋梁。
Step6: Reflection
1. 我設(shè)計(jì)的游戲要注重面向全體學(xué)生,難度適中,讓大家都參與。可以根據(jù)學(xué)生的個(gè)人素質(zhì),性格特點(diǎn),記憶力反應(yīng)速度等,因材施教。
