Unit5 Whose dog is it？ (PartB Let’s learn) 
教學(xué)目標(biāo)  Knowledge target:  
1. Understand and use the words: sleeping jumping playing climbing eating drinking  
2. Learn to say It/he/she is v+ing They are v+ing.  Ability target:  
1. Can use the target language in the real life  
2. Can cooperate with the classmates to discuss or practice Emotion target:  1. Love animal. 學(xué)情分析 
1.Our students are in Grade 5.  
2.They are very active and curious about many things.  3.They can do some activities according to teacher’s instructions.   重難點 Key points:  
1. Master the new words, sleeping playing climbing jumping eating drinking  
2. Can use the words they learnt to describe the thing someone

Difficult point: To use is and are correctly   教學(xué)過程  Warm- up 
Greet and group students. (設(shè)計意圖:讓學(xué)生盡快融入到英語學(xué)習(xí)的環(huán)境,并鼓勵孩子多思考,多發(fā)言。)  
1.Create the situation of language learning, In the morning, Chen jie and Fido go to the zoo, let’s go with her. 
2.Watch the cartoon and find what animals can you see in the zoo and what are they doing?  (Singing a song can arouse the Ss’ participation desire and lead Ss into a thick English studying atmosphere )  Revision 
Let students say the animals they see. Then show the animals one by one.(設(shè)計意圖：本單元主要講到動物在做某事，讓學(xué)生對動物進(jìn)行復(fù)習(xí)） Presentation 
observe the animals’activities, begin to feel the progressive aspectand learn to say them one by one correctly. 
What are the animals doing? Let’s see one by one. Learn the new word: sleeping. What's this? It is a cat. What is the cat doing? It is sleeping. So, this is sleeping. Listen and repeat. 
 
                    
             
                    
                            Sleeping, sleeping. 點3名學(xué)生讀。And who can say the sentence? 點一名學(xué)生說。Then who can do action for us? 點一名學(xué)生做動作。同樣的方法教jumping. Then 1.Using phonics to teach：ee dr b（不發(fā)音）2.Through the way of guessing to teach the words：eating drinking. 3.Through expanding teaching to help students understand the meaning of playing.In the part of words, teaching words in sentences. Practice Step 1單詞游戲 
1. I do, you say(我做你說）I do the actions, you say the words.(我做動作，你說單詞）.  
2. Chen jie says.(listen to Chen Jie's order. If there is  a “Chen Jie  says”before the word , you read after her and do action. but if there isn't  a “Chen Jie says” before the word. You should keep quiet！) 
3. A chant.(Maybe you are a little tired. Now let’s have a chant and relax together.) Step 2 
1.create the situation of language learning, At noon, Chen jie and Fido go to a restaurant, they see a girl. Picture 1What is she doing? After lunch, they go out, they see a boy. Picture 2 What is the boy doing? Then, they see two boys, Picture 3what arethey doing?(區(qū)分is和are). 
2.Work in pairs. Use the sentences to ask and answer. What is he/she doing?   He/She is...... What are they doing?    They are...... 
Come to the front, Choose one picture from teacher to ask and answer. Step 3  
Listen and answer questions. 1. What is Fido doing?   It is sleeping. 
2. What are the rabbits doing? 
  They are playing with each other.(Let two students do action to help us understand “play with each other”) Extension 
1.Create the situation of language learning. In the evening, Chen jie write a diary, but it is broken by Fido, let’s help her to complete it(區(qū)分Is和are) 
2.Then write your own diary. let three students read out their diary. Homework 1.Make a survey.  
   On this weekend, Call your 5 friends to ask what are they
