2新設(shè)計(jì)
設(shè)計(jì)亮點(diǎn):
以女王穿過小鎮(zhèn)去參加派對(duì)(語音板塊)---在派對(duì)上就餐,談?wù)摼筒投Y儀(文化板塊)---談?wù)撈咸阎膩碓?--Bobby的葡萄園(卡通板塊)這條獨(dú)具匠心的主線貫穿三個(gè)零散的教學(xué)板塊,提升課堂教學(xué)的整體性、趣味性和實(shí)效性。
Watch and guess“我做你猜”的熱身活動(dòng),既營造了輕松愉快的英語課堂氛圍,又為隨后的語音板塊教學(xué)埋下了伏筆,提高了學(xué)生對(duì)于現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)的關(guān)注度。
精心設(shè)計(jì)每一個(gè)開放性問題,激活學(xué)生深層英語思維,使學(xué)生開動(dòng)腦筋、積極思考、大膽想象,養(yǎng)成善思的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣。
語音板塊中滲透自然拼讀教學(xué)法,注重學(xué)生語音的學(xué)習(xí),更注重學(xué)習(xí)方法的掌握和運(yùn)用。
大容量、大信息量使得本課的每一個(gè)板塊內(nèi)容基于課本,又高于課本,注重基礎(chǔ),又有拓展提升。刀叉的位置擺放、如何正確使用、餐桌禮儀注意事項(xiàng),都能在這節(jié)課的補(bǔ)充內(nèi)容中找到答案。極大地豐富了學(xué)生對(duì)西方文化的了解。
卡通板塊的學(xué)習(xí)由復(fù)習(xí)上單元卡通板塊內(nèi)容引入,兼顧了前后單元板塊間的關(guān)聯(lián),注重了單元間知識(shí)的連貫性和系統(tǒng)性。
充分利用了書中每一個(gè)板塊的配套插圖,如:女王步行圖,刀叉使用圖、Bobby葡萄園圖,有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的觀察能力、想象能力、推理能力、概括能力和綜合思維能力。
3學(xué)情分析
五年級(jí)的譯林教材,除了以Story time為核心的語法板塊和以Grammar time為核心的語法板塊之外,每個(gè)單元一般還包含一組活動(dòng)類板塊。這些活動(dòng)板塊以不同的形式對(duì)相關(guān)單元的主要學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行強(qiáng)化、拓展、歸納和整理,如Sound time一般側(cè)重于對(duì)語音知識(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)和歸納,Culture time側(cè)重對(duì)本單元主要學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的文化拓展,Cartoon time側(cè)重于對(duì)學(xué)生初步英語閱讀能力的培養(yǎng)。五年級(jí)的學(xué)生經(jīng)過三四年級(jí)的學(xué)習(xí),對(duì)新教材的各板塊有了一定的了解,針對(duì)這樣幾個(gè)相對(duì)獨(dú)立的教學(xué)板塊和五年級(jí)學(xué)生現(xiàn)有知識(shí)水平和學(xué)習(xí)能力,,我打算借助一條情景主線開展單元活動(dòng)板塊教學(xué),將這些零碎的板塊整合成一個(gè)整體,提升單元活動(dòng)板塊的教學(xué)質(zhì)量,為本單元前兩個(gè)課時(shí)教學(xué)活動(dòng)做延伸與補(bǔ)充。

教學(xué)重點(diǎn):能正確理解、朗讀Cartoon time中的故事,了解不同國家吃飯時(shí)用的餐具
教學(xué)難點(diǎn):能正確并熟練地運(yùn)用本單元所學(xué)詞句談喜歡吃的食物和正在發(fā)生的事情。

第三課時(shí) (Cartoon time & Culture time&Sound time)
教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1.能熟練運(yùn)用本單元所學(xué)的詞句談?wù)撜诎l(fā)生的活動(dòng)

Step1: Warm up.
Play a game. Watch and guess what am I/is he/she doing?
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:課初的“做一做動(dòng)作,猜一猜在做什么”的游戲能夠迅速活躍課堂氣氛,打開學(xué)生的思維,并為語音部分現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)的出現(xiàn)奠定時(shí)態(tài)基礎(chǔ)。)
Step2: Presentation and Practice.
Sound Time:
Look at this man in the picture, what is he doing?
S1: He is shouting.
T: Read and do with me “shouting”. Then go on to guess, what is he shouting?
S2: He is shouting “ Big apples! Three yuan a kilo!”
S3: He is shouting “It’s going to rain, go fast!”
T: Look! He is shouting “ Quick! Quick!” I’ll write it down on the blackboard.
But why is he shouting that? Discuss in groups.

Look at the two words: quick, queen. How does “qu” pronounce?
S7: /kw/.

T: Look at the queen carefully, what is she wearing? Try to describe with the sentence: She is wearing a …

S9: She is wearing yellow gloves.
T: What is she wearing on her head?
Teach: golden crown.
Now, we have the sentences:
T: This is a rhyme. Pay attention to the last word of each sentence. One word is missing in the rhyme. Discuss with partner and choose a suitable word to fill in.
S9: Town.
T:Why?
S10: Because “crown” “town”, they rhyme.

T: Now, try to use these words to make a new rhyme in groups.
Culture time:
T: Look at the queen, why is the queen coming through the town?
S: She is coming to a party.
T: At the party, there are so many food to eat. They are all western food: the starter, soup, main course, dessert, drink. How does the queen eat?
S: She eats with a knife and fork.
T: People in India eat with their hands. Chinese people eat with chopsticks.
Western people eat with a knife and fork.
Teach: eat with…
T: How do people set the fork and knife?
They set the fork on the left and the knife on the right.
Teach some good table manners.
Cartoon time:
T: At last, the queen will have the drink. What’s the drink today?
S: Grape juice.
T: Where’re the grapes from?
S: Bobby’s garden.
T: How are the grapes?
S: They are big and sweet.
T: Now let’s review the story of Bobby’s garden. (Fill in the blanks)
The story is not over. It’s to be continued in Unit 6. What will happen?
Watch and choose:
A: Sam is coming to help Bobby.
B: Sam is coming to eat the grapes too.
T: How does Sam help?
S: He brings some good ladybirds.
T: Teach and compare the 7-spot and 10-spot ladybirds.
T: How do the ladybirds help?
Read and answer.
T: teach “drive …away”.
T: How is Bobby now?
S: He is happy.
