一、 教學內(nèi)容分析 
本課題材出自外語教學與研究出版社9年級上學期Module9 Unit 1的 Listening &Speaking部分，課型為一節(jié)聽說訓練課。本節(jié)課聽的內(nèi)容包括兩段聽力材料，內(nèi)容是討論手機，相機和電腦等發(fā)明給人們生活帶來的方便和討論哪一種發(fā)明最為重要。本節(jié)課說的內(nèi)容是復述聽力材料，描述發(fā)明，如電腦，相機在生活中的廣泛應用對生活發(fā)生的改變，另外針對課文標題，開展兩個大組之間的辯論活動。在設計本節(jié)課時，依據(jù)英語學科的核心素養(yǎng)和四種關鍵能力同時進行聽說策略訓練。 
二、整體設計思路 
整節(jié)課以號召同學們參加學校科技達人秀為任務主線，讓同學們在語境中充分發(fā)散自己的創(chuàng)造性和批判性思維。運用思維導圖和音節(jié)拼讀單詞等學法指導幫助學生掌握一般將來時及情態(tài)動詞的被動語態(tài)以及個別較難的單詞，以提高學生的語言表達能力。結合我校365-1課堂教學模式的指導精神，本節(jié)課重點培養(yǎng)學生的思維力、合作能力、觀察力、想象力以及注意力。尤其是提升學生的思維品質(zhì)和學習能力。 
  三、學生分析 
學生為九年級的孩子，對于被動語態(tài)已經(jīng)有了一定程度的了解。學生對發(fā)明這個話題比較感興趣，但是學生的批判性思維可能有所欠缺。 
四、教學目標 
1. 語言能力：從對話中獲取相關信息，初步運用一般將來時和情態(tài)動詞的被動
語態(tài)談論部分發(fā)明及其應用。 
 
                    
             
                    
                            2. 思維品質(zhì)：通過辯論任務結合所學材料整合信息，從而提高批判性思維品質(zhì)。 3. 文化品格：在學習過程中感受新舊發(fā)明的偉大。 
4. 學習能力：通過課前預習和課堂中的小組合作提高自學能力。 
五、教學重難點 
重點：1. 訓練聽力技能，如聽前預測，記關鍵詞，獲取大意和細節(jié)信息等 
2.初步掌握一般將來時和情態(tài)動詞的被動語態(tài)。 難點： 用被動語態(tài)句型描述發(fā)明在生活中的廣泛應用。  
六、教學過程 
Teacher’s Activity 
Students’ Activity Specific aims 
Step 1: Lead-in (6 minutes) 1. Show a flash of some great inventions. 
2. The present of today’s win-ner. 
3. Show a video of the science talent show and assign the task.  1. Enjoy the flash and the vid-eo. 
2. Answer some questions re-lated to the video.   
To arouse the students’ interest and lead to the topic of inven-tion. 
Step 2: Pre-listening (3 minutes) 
4. Show pictures of great in-ventions in ancient China and four great new inventions.  
Answer the questions according to the picture and express their opinions about great inventions both at home and abroad. To recall the Ss of the knowledge about the inventions and lead to the next part. 
Step 3: While-listening (15 minutes) 
5. First listening: Ask Ss to lis-ten and complete the sentences. T have Ss guess what words they need to fill in the blanks  
1. Listen to a dialogue about 
inventions and predict the words used in the blanks. To teach the listening strategies such as underlying key words, note taking, and getting the main idea. 
6. T asks Ss what their favorite invention is and why Ss talk about their favorite inventions and explain why, using sentence structure with passive voice. To brainstorm the advantages of great inventions and prac- 
tise the passive voice. 7. Second listening: Ask Ss to listen and choose the best an-swers.   
1. Ss try to get information from the questions and under-line the key words such as what, why and how many, etc.  2. Ss listen to dialogue and do

Step 4: Post-listening (5 minutes) 
8. Ask Students to read after the tape .  Act out the dialogue in the whole class, imitating the into-nation and stress. To cultivate the sense of  language  
 9. 1)Have Ss underline the sen-tence patterns with passive 
voice  
2) Provide the Ss with a mind map and have them retell the dialogue in complete sentences with passive voice 
Ss work in groups and retell the story according to the mind map, using the passive voice.  
To consolidate the input by re-telling the dialogue according to the mind-map  
Step 5: Extension (11minutes) 
10. Present a video about the reading methods in the future. Watch the video and feel the influence of great inventions on 
our life. To lead in the next activity. 11. Ask Ss to work in groups to finish the debate task. Work in groups to find out  reasons and examples to win the debate. 1. To cultivate the Students’ critical thinking. 
2.To reinforce the internaliza-tion of passive voice Step 6: Summary and homework (2minutes) 
12.Provide the Ss with a mind map and have them retell what they have learnt in this lesson 1. Ss retell what they have 
learnt about great inventions. 2. Talk about how they feel 
about the inventions  
1.To summarize and revise, consolidate what we  have learned today 
2. To sublimate the emotion
