Unit 3 has already developed students’ skills on Yes or No questions 
and short answers. After making conversations themselves, they must have become more familiar with the structures of sentences.   
In addition, many teenagers are restless and very eager to do sports.  
Therefore they are very likely to be fascinated by the content about what sports they do and what sports goods they have. And student must long to tell about their possessions. So it is informative. Students may not have too many difficulties in understanding and imitations. 
Overall Lesson Objectives  
1 Master the vocabularies which are provided with. 2 Discuss the possessions of their own items. 
3 Grasp the general questionsled by “do”and answers in “Yes” or “No”. 4 Ask for others’ possessions with the deformations of “have ” and “do”. 5 
Further develop listening communication and cooperation skills.  
Anticipated Learner Difficulty 
1 Students may not be familiar with so many sports goods in a while. As 
a result, activities that emphasize on the new words would be necessary. 
2 This unit is the beginning of mastering auxiliary verbs that they will 
use throughout their school years. But students may have difficulty in understanding them and telling them correctly when they give speech. Besides, pictures in the PPT and book may be of great help.

II Summary of Lesson Procedures 
Part 1: Warming-up 
Singing the song You and me, let students to think about the name of the song and why did the singer sing this song?  
Part 2: Vocabulary 
Step 1: Pictures will flash in PPT and Studentstell thenames as fast as they can. Step 2:  Fill in the blanks and check 1a.  
Part 3: Listening and Speaking 1.  Input-Listening practice: 
Step 1:  Listen to and imitate the conversation in 1b. 2.  Output-Speaking practice: 
Step 1:Choose one student come to the front and face to others. Step 2:One guesses and the others answer until he gets “Yes”. Step 3： Make conversations with the given structure.  
Part 4: Listening  Step 1:  Pre-listening 
Introduce and describe the pictures and read names before listening. Step 2:  While-listening Finish 2a and 2b on page 26. Step3:  Post-listening 
Transcript the listening materials  
Part 5: Reading 
Step 1:  Pre-reading

Part 1: Warming-up Timing  3 minutes Procedures  
1  Greeting  2  Warm-up:  
T: I’m very happy, so today I will show one of my talent.I will sing    a song and hope you will enjoy it. But you have a job , when you        listen to the song, you need to think about these two questions：       1. What is the name of the song?    
  2. In what kind of situation did the singer sing this song？     T: You and me, From one world       We are family, Travel dream       A thousand miles, Meeting in Beijing.     T: OK, so who would like to answer my questions.     S:.... 
    T: Excellent. So , do you like watching the Olympic games? What is your        favorite sports? Who likes playing soccer ball? Do you have a soccer        ball? So today we are going to learn Unit5 Do you have a soccer        ball? 
Attention 
1

                            Part 2: Vocabulary Timing  5 minute Procedures  
1 Tell the rules. 
  T： The pictures will flash on the screen, you need to tell the name of         pictures as soon as possible. 2 Many pictures will flash in the PPT.  
3 Students answer as quickly as they can and teacher should ask the 
spelling of each word. 
4  Since they already know the words, they can finish 1a easily.  T: As we get familiar with the words, let’s look at 1a. In the picture, Tom     invites his friend to his home. Let us help him to identify what he has. 
Attention 
Some students may not reflect as quickly as other students who preview well. Observing all the students and slow down when some can’t follow. 
  
Part 3: Listening and speaking Timing  10 minutes 
Procedures  
1.  Input-Listening practice: 
Step 1:  Listen to and imitate the conversation in 1b.  T: You did well in listening. But also pay attention to your intonation. Read like what you hear. 
2.  Output-Speaking practice: 
Step 1: Activity of I give action you have a guess. 
       T: Who would like to read the rules for us? OK. 
        Who would like to come to the front and give your performance? Step 2： Make conversations with the given structure. 
       T: Ask students,does she/does he have a ...? Let student to have           pair work to practice the sentence. 
Attention 
1.Exaggerated movements or gesture can assist students to exaggerate their intonation.

Procedures  
Step 1:  Pre-listening 
Introduce and describe the pictures and read names before listening. 
T: Teacher describe the pictures and let students to read the name together Step 2:  While-listening Finish 2a and 2b on page 26. Step3:  Post-listening

Attention 
The information in the conversations is much more than what students got in listening practice before. If many can’t follow, it can be played again.

Procedures  
Step 1:  Pre-reading 
T: Look at the picture and have a guess what will they do? Step 2 :  While-reading 
Read the dialogue silently and finish the exercise. Step 3 :  Post-reading 
Let students to read the passage and help them to recite the the dialogue.  Attention 
It is hard for student to remember all the things, so the teacher need to give enough time for students to prepare it well.
