restaurant.Then, play a video to lead in the topic: potato chips.

Step 2 Presentation(介紹聽力中的關(guān)鍵詞匯,并鞏固單詞的記憶)
Use pictures to demonstrate the key words and phrases which appeared in the
listening material. Help Students memorize all the words and phrases by playing a game(通過圖片展示聽力中的關(guān)鍵詞匯,做總結(jié),并通過分類游戲進(jìn)行鞏固。)
Stage 3 While-listening (第三階段 聽中活動(dòng))
Step 1 Listen to the tape for the first time and answer questions about “when,
who and how”. 聽錄音,完成時(shí)間、人物、方法的三個(gè)問題。
1.When was potato chips invented ? It was invented in_________. 2.Who was potato chips invented by? It was invented by_________. 3. How was it invented ?

Step 2 Listen to the tape for the second time and fill in the blanks. (Listen for
the key words.) 再次聽錄音,完成學(xué)案上的填空。
Step 3 Check answers by referring to the pictures. 根據(jù)圖片訂正學(xué)生的答案,

Teachers lead students to retell the story by using the key words. Then ask students to retell the story in group of four. Encourage students to act the story out.
